For those of you who have begun to read and perhaps follow this blog, many thanks for your interest and time!
To keep up your reading, and connection, please take note of the following:
Over the next week or so, I will be moving over to a new blog, www.word-watcher.com, and changing the focus a little. Please follow the link, sign up, and keep reading!
The reason behind the move is simple: I have a feeling that the current blog name is too long and complicated, and will not readily show up in searches, whereas word-watcher.com will be easier to remember, hopefully, less of a pain in the ass to type in, and easier to pick up in searches.
Also, I have realised that what really gets me interested and engaged is words themselves – their habitats and appearances, in both our public and our private lives. Hence the new title – ‘word watcher’ – a play, of course, on ‘birdwatcher’ and ‘birdwatching.’
So, if you’ve read this far, and would like to keep up – do follow me across to my new neck-of-the-woods: www.word-watcher.com
The post below, ‘Getting the Words Right,’ is also the first post on Wordwatcher, and a taste of what’s to come.
